Initial Consultation
We start with a conversation. You tell us about your family, your vision, and any specific requests. We'll discuss timing, outfits, and what to expect during the session.
Preparation & Setup
We prepare our studio with appropriate lighting, backgrounds, and props. For newborns, we ensure everything is warm and comfortable. We're ready before you arrive so there's no rush.
The Session
During your session, we take time to capture genuine moments. We'll guide poses, adjust lighting, and work at your family's pace. Breaks are always available — especially important with little ones.
Editing & Delivery
After the session, we carefully edit your photos for color, brightness, and clarity. You'll receive your images within two weeks, ready to print, frame, or share with family.
Common Questions
Before Your Session
How long does a typical session last?
Most sessions run between 1.5 to 2 hours. For newborns, we allow extra time because they set the pace. Family sessions are usually around 90 minutes, which gives us time for different combinations and outfit changes if you'd like.
What should we wear?
We recommend soft, neutral colors that complement each other without matching exactly. Think cream, soft gray, or pastel tones. Avoid busy patterns or logos. We'll send you specific suggestions when you book, tailored to the type of session and our studio backdrop.
What's the best time for a newborn session?
Ideally, newborn sessions happen between 5 to 14 days old. At this age, babies are sleepier and more curled up in their newborn poses. We're flexible though — we can accommodate sessions up to 8 weeks if that works better for your family.
During & After
Can we bring our own props or outfits?
Absolutely. We have a large collection of blankets, wraps, and props in our studio, but you're welcome to bring meaningful items — grandma's blanket, heirloom clothing, or anything special to your family. Just let us know in advance.
When will we get our photos?
We deliver edited photos within two weeks of your session. You'll receive them digitally, ready for printing or sharing. We also provide print recommendations if you'd like physical copies or albums.
Do you offer same-day edits?
We don't offer same-day edits because we believe in taking time with your photos. Every image is carefully reviewed and edited for color, contrast, and clarity. We'd rather give you beautiful photos two weeks later than rushed ones immediately.
