Audra Kairiene
Senior Family Photography Specialist
Swifto UAB
Professional newborn and family portrait photography with specialized expertise in studio lighting, posing techniques, and creating emotionally resonant images for Lithuanian families.
The Story Behind the Studio
Audra's journey into professional photography began during her studies at the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts, where she became fascinated by the intersection of technical mastery and emotional storytelling. That curiosity drove everything that followed. After completing her degree in Visual Arts and Photography in 2008, she spent two years apprenticing under renowned Lithuanian portrait photographer Raimundas Dūda, learning advanced studio techniques, client management, and the psychology of working with families during vulnerable moments.
In 2010, Audra opened her own studio in Panevėžys—a decision that proved transformative. She developed a distinctive approach to newborn photography that prioritizes infant safety, parental comfort, and natural emotional moments over heavily styled compositions. It's not about perfect poses or overly produced backdrops. It's about capturing who your family actually is. Since then, she's photographed over 2,800 newborn and family sessions, earning recognition as one of Lithuania's leading specialists in intimate family portraiture.
What drives her work is simple: newborn and family sessions document irreplaceable moments. She approaches each session with meticulous attention to detail and genuine care for preserving authentic family connections. Her work has been featured in Lithuanian lifestyle publications, and she's trained numerous emerging photographers in posing, lighting, and the human aspects of working with new families. Today, at swifto UAB, she combines her hands-on studio expertise with educational content creation—sharing technical knowledge and professional insights to help other photographers and families understand the value of professional studio photography.

How Audra Works
Every family is different. That's not just something Audra says—it's how she actually approaches each session. She doesn't have a cookie-cutter formula or a standardized checklist. Instead, she listens first. What matters to your family? Are you looking for posed portraits or candid moments? Do you want neutral tones or something bolder? Are there safety concerns with your newborn that need special attention?
The session itself is collaborative. She's guiding you and your family—not commanding. That might mean playing soft music to keep a newborn calm. It might mean taking breaks when a toddler gets restless. It could mean adjusting lighting on the fly because a particular setup isn't working. The goal isn't to force your family into predetermined poses. It's to capture who you actually are together.
What separates professional studio photography from smartphone snapshots isn't just equipment. It's control—understanding how light shapes mood, how composition guides the viewer's eye, how timing captures genuine expressions rather than forced smiles. It's also experience. After 2,800+ sessions, Audra knows how to work quickly and efficiently, which means less stress for your family and more authentic moments for the camera.
